Greater Giving Instructions

To participate in auction bidding, you will utilize Greater Giving, a web-based bidding service. 

Closer to the event date, you can visit the auction pages at https://stjosephsea.ejoinme.org/registration and you will be asked to create a login in order to bid on an item. Once your bidding profile is created you can browse all auction items, including silent, super silent, dessert dash and live auction items. You will have access to item descriptions, values, bid increments and photos. Use Greater Giving from anywhere during the course of the event and if you need help, please contact our offices at 206-329-3260 x 244.

How do I find items on the Greater Giving website?

you can find items by searching by package number or browse all packages. Once you find the package you’re looking for, you're welcome to place a bid, set a max bid, “watch” packages or “buy now” for packages. To find out what packages have no bids, tap the NO BIDS PKGS button.

How do I bid on an item?

You can bid from anywhere and at any time from when the auction opens to the closing! Find the items you’re interested in and then press Place Bid. 

Where are the items I’ve already bid on?

The items you bid on and items that you are currently winning are listed in My Bids.

Can Greater Giving automatically bid for me?

Once you have submitted a bid you will be prompted to enter a Max Bid. Greater Giving will then automatically bid on your behalf by increment whenever you are outbid up to your max bid amount. To place a max bid , click “Bid More” then choose desired max bid amount. 

Was I outbid?

If you see a re outbid message, tap the icon to get back to the home screen. You can also press My Bids from your profile to see your bidding history. You will also receive a text message if you are outbid.
